I used Nando’s medium sauce. it completely depends on the hot sauce you use, but it has 1 cup of hot sauce so it’s definitely hot. However my biggest revelation was that I could use this as a base recipe, swap out the sauce and the veggies and get something equally delicious but totally different – so I do a Mexican version, using no celery, extra bell peppers, a jalapeño and enchilada sauce, and a bechamel type one with no celery, a dairy free Alfredo sauce, mushrooms and peas. glad you found it, it’s one of my favorites!
